Back to school.........

Goodness I shouldn't be doing this I'll only complain when it is time to go back but I have been planning my work wear wardrobe for when we go back.

The first term there are always open evenings and open days when parents can just walk in while your teaching.....no pressure there so we do need to look smart.

Wish list for Spetember

H&M think it would look so pretty with a black pencil skirt or trousers. Not sure what the sleeves would look like under a cardie though

I LOVE this dress, so ladlylike, perfect length and could be jazzed up with coloured or patterened tights, only thing is grey or..............

Today I don't feel like doing anything..........

Oh I love love LOVE the holidays! I really should go into work and phone some parents but...........I think I will put it off till tomorrow!

Actually I have been relatively proactive this week, I have

Booked a holiday for me and my mate to Feuterventura in the Octobrt half term, really find going away in oct sets you up for the winter

Entered two charity cycle events, one for the British Heart foundation one a ladies only cycle ride to raise cycle awareness get better tracks etc

Been to the libaray and got the new Emily Barr book, sooooo happy! love this lady!

Todays plan:

meet two of the girls for a primark rummage, am away in Greece next week and haven't got a bikini yet

Go to an 'extreme bootcamp' exercise session in the park, 1 hour 30 mins, bit scared!

Find my mum a birthday present, am thinking theatre tickets for love never dies but haven't completely decided yet............

I am been perusing the internet and I am absolutley horrified about some of the comments i have seen about Amy Winehouse, even from my so called friends on facebook (had a bit of a facebook cull after that). A young woman has tragically died, whatever her issues she was someones daughter, sister and friend! These people didn't know her and they didn't care enought to comment on her life so how dare they comment on her death, making a mockery of her! People comment on her but the dealers etc who sold her drugs etc are not commented on at all!

There are very few people who haven't dealt with some issues, and when I look at my friends, there are few who haven't experimented with drink or drugs so what gives them the right to comment!

RIP Amy, your life has tragically been cut short and I am sorry you had such a struggle!

Help please!

Good evening!

I need to ask for some advice please. Ignoring the fact that yet again my soending ban has been an epic fail (oops) I need advice on whether this baby stays or goes! She is my forst playsuit £14.99 from H&M and I love it but I am too tall? Is it too short? Am I too old? Def not in my comfort zone here.

Apologies about the photos, I took them standing on our toilet because my housemate wouldn't let me use his mirror and i havent got one. Really need to invest!

My goodness time is going so quick!One week left before the summer holidays! The last weeks of term are always really busy, we have concerts, leaving dos and of course prom! I missed the sixth form prom cos I was in Berlin but I got to go to the year 11 one. They all looked fabulous! Had some serious dress envy but I think the outfit of the night had to go to the lad who turned up in a white tux complete with his brilliant afro and a cane! Totally rocked it! Must admit I am not sure about the latest thing amongst our lads of wearing tux with trainers.....hmm

Anyway to blend into the background I wore

Prom Queen

My goodness it's the last week of term! Yey! Can't beleive how quickly this year has gone. The end of term is always crazy for us, awards evenings, concerts, leaving dos and of course prom. I missed the year 13 prom because I was in Berlin but the year 11 prom was held on thurs so I went along and it was fabulous. They all looked beautiful so much time and effort had been out into their outfits. I had some serious dress envy but I think my favourite outfit of the night had to be the lad in a white tux and cane complete with his own afro! One cool dude! I will say I am not a big fan of the tux with trainers look that many of our boys seem to embrace but hey ho what do i know!

Hello!

Goodness me time is flying! One more week then a lovely six weeks off school. I literally have no idea where the time has gone this year! The end of term is always busy with concerts and meals and leaving dos and .........................prom.

I missed the upper sixth prom because I was in Berlin with the lower sixth but on thurs it was the year 11 prom (kids who have just done their GCSEs) and they looked fabulous! Some of the dresses, hair and make up were absolutely gorgeous! The boys were in the tuxedos......not quite sure on the fact that the style is now to wear a tux with trainers......but hey what do I know? And there was the kid who came in a white tux, big afro and a cane and absolutely rocked it!

Anyway just to blend into the background I wore

I am back from my Berlin adventures. Had a lovely time even though it was work, took 22 kids. If you haven't been to Berlin I highly recommend it. Fantastic place. Couple of pictures for you

-13 in poland, I took some kids to Auschwitz concentration camp it was freezing but I think the pyschological factor made it 10 times worse.

100s of times, have many first paragraphs written! never got any further.

I wonder if one of the reasons I am so broke all the time is because of my spending habbits...........maybe hearing a penny drop there! Anyway since I bought al these lovely bargins it would be rude not to share them!
