Birthday love

Hello all!

Guess what! Its muh birfday! Or it was yesterday.......29 years old! Whoop whoop!

And considering it was not a big birthday I got well spoilt!

You may have already seen my terrimundi pot and my ring from Butler and Wilson but I also got

Goodies! A new running top and chocolates from my best mate. a radley wallet and some shoes from my parents (as well as the money box and ring!) a bracelet and a Miss Selfridge voucher from two other friends!

Shoes from Clarks from my parents love these! Haven't bought from Clarks for agggggges!

Pretty bracelet from my friend which I think goes really nicely with my new ring

The today we booked a holiday to Turkey in half term! Can't wait!

Harry Potter

Hello all

Brrrr what a cold and rainy weekend! I literally have not stepped foot outside the door. Been proper poorly all week (not good the first week back after a holiday) even got sent home from parents pm because I literally couldn't speak! Luckily the resting (and boredom) seems to have helped and I am almost feeling normal again!

When I was down in Swansea I went to the hair dressers to have my roots done and an inch or so off my hair. My hair dresser is a lovely girl and was bored so she asked if she could curl my hair, 'of course' says I and I loved it! She used a wand (see what I did there Harry Potter/wand?!!) and she made it look so easy so I popped off to Tesco and bought myself this

The Remington Pearl Wand, lots of good reviews, 25% off bargain! Except its not.......I just cannot use the blooming thing! I have watched countless you tube videos with girls using this particular wand, read blogs and studied the instructions........all my hair does is fall off the damn thing not even a wave!

Anyone got any spells out there that will give my beautiful curls???

Birthday bling

it is not actually my birthday until the end of April but since i have been home for part of the Easter Holidays my mum and dad gave me my presents then since it saves them posting them! I saw some jewellary from Butler and Wilson that I fancied so this is what I got........

Now believe it or not I am not usually a massive bling fan.............

And my friends have laughed at it...........

I accept it's not to everyones taste

But I adore it!

Have you heard of Terrimundi pots before? They are money boxes that don't have stoppers in the bottom they are sealed so you have to smash them to get the money out.

I had this one a few years ago

and it got full......but I didn't want to smash it so my lovely dad drilled the bottom for me.......

and I got £130 out of it!!! Such as easy way to spend because I think of all that change I had I probably would have lost most of it otherwise. My parents knew it was ready to be emptied so they bought me a new one for my bday

Which I have already starred filling! My goal is £150 this time

New Years resolutions..........

Hello

My goodness where has the time gone! I haven't blogged for nearly a month. Mind you it has been a rather busy couple of weeks! Work has been absolutely mental and not always in a good way. Also last Sunday I completed the Reading half marathon relay, only three miles but I was really pleased and I have decided I am going to do the whole thing next year, will be just before I am 30 so something to aim for, also it is the 30th anniversary of the half marathon so I thought it would be quite nice!

Anyway it is now the Easter Holidays so I am off home today! Just thought I'd have a look at home my new years resolutions are going so far

Not to buy more than one thing a month-eeeeeek epic sale, when the going got tough G-Unit went shopping, and shopping and then did a bit more shopping.....will post about what I bought though cos i did get some lovely stuff

Baking, I didn't bake anything new in March but I made cupcakes two days ago and had my first go with a piping bag

Not bad, my next challenge is going to be chocolate beetroot cake
