Well I have well and truly broken my one item of clothing a month New Years reservation in February and March, i will try and get back on it nex month but it was so worth it! :)

Marry me......?

Well ladies its that one day that come every four years..........and to celebrate Oasis gave 29% off EVERYTHING online! So I treated myself to the two tops pictured earlier in my blog........new years resolution out the window then!

Being a history teacher and a rather nosey lady I had a look where this tradition came from. It was decreed by Queen Margaret in 1288 that this was the one day it was acceptable for a lady to ask a man for his hand in marriage. however if the gentleman declined he had to compensate the lady in question with either

                                            A pound coin (well it was worth a lot more in 1288)

or

 A silk dress

Or if you were from Denmark

12 pairs of gloves!

Green with envy

I love green! I really, really do! I am not entirely sure how much it suits me but I don't really care because I think it may actually be my favourite colour.

Again from Dorothy Perkins! Love them! how nice with skinnies and a white vest?

Probably more turquoise then green but I love the butterflys. Oasis.

And this again is Oasis, not green (or else I am V colour blind) but I think the cut on this is so lovely and would look oretty under anything (including green!)

Epic fail.....but it was worth it

Hello ladies

What a beautiful day! I went out last night so have had a pretty chilled one! Went to town for a lovely Weatherspoon's pub breakie! Always a pleasure!

I didn't take a picture of the outfit because I wore my cream Matalan dress which is already on my blog but what I did do was going SHOPPING after my spoons breakie!

I bought a black cardie from DPs, I had one of the 25% vouchers from Martins money tips, they are available until 29th feb 25% off everything and I needed a new black cardie and this one is so pretty

and I loved this from Oasis, have a lot of love for a lot of things in Oasis at the moment

I think this is the only pink item of clothing I own so am looking forward to being pretty in pink!

Hope everyone is well and having a lovely time. I flew from Gatwick and there are some lovely shops there! fell in love with these from Carvela

I think there are gorgeous! They come in mint and gold as well! big  love! However £65.00 seems rather a lot for summer sandals.............

However Matalan to the rescue!!!

With these bad boys! They come in a few colours and even a mulit coloured version

and at £8.00 they are a bit more purse friendly!

out for an afternoon

Hello ladies!

Brrr its cold out there! I popped into town this afternoon to get a few things for Greece tomorrow morning (leaving at 4.30am, not my best time of the day!)

Wrapped up warm

Its my dads birthday on the 27th February so I have ordered him a book off amazon (he's a trainspotter so I doubt i will review it on here!) And I bought him so chocolate from Hotel Chocolate

The white Eton Mess are for me, highly recommend them!

I also got him a birthday card from me

                                                                and I fell in love with this

                                              Because I think it  looks so much like our dog Bob

                                                    It shall be to my Dad from him

Popped into the library for some holiday reading material

                                                        and some Phil Collins for the journey

And I am good to go! Am taking a ridiculous amount of stuff with me, only going for four days!

Oh well girls will be girls!
