Wishlist so far

Ooooof well so far (apart from swapping the dress for the shoes) I haven't bought any clothes this year (wa-hoo a whole two weeks) but there are starting to be pretty things in the shops and I'm finding it difficult........

love these two dresses from Miss Selfridge

This is actually in the petites range, now I am a small size 12 but I am 5,6 so would need to try. Wouldn't this be pretty with sandals in the summer or with a blazer and heels for a night out.......

Then I LOVE this

Such a ladylike length with the twist of the open front and the back! love it!

Then this skirt in Zara

In real life this is much more pinky than nude.....so pretty!

Whats floating your fashion boat so far this year?

Have I broken the rules?

Hello

Goodness more than a week has passed since I last blogged, time doesn't half go quickly! So I am back in work and very glad to have had the break because this is going to be one busy month work wise......nose to the grindstone!

If you remember just before Christmas I took myself to enjoy the Miss Selfridge sale coming back with two bags (both of which I LOVE) and this sparkly number

Now this may not be too everybodies taste but i adored everything about it and it was half price...result! However after trying it on reality kicked in

Where am I ever going to wear it?
It looked pretty rubbish on

So after work tonight I hotfooted it to the Miss Selfridge (didn't have a receipt so was only allowed an exchange which was fine) and came back with

Ridiculously high but heart them muchly. Have all sorts of ideas for these bad boys.....only thing is have I already broken my new years resolution....one item a month and nothing in January? I don't think I have because it was an exchange (even though these were an extra fiver) but I really want to keep this resolution this year..................

Apart from that I had a lovely weekend which involved going back to Swansea for the weekend, having Nandos with my mate then seeing The Iron Lady with my mum. Absolutely fabulous film I highly recommend!

How are you all getting on with your New Years Resolutions?

Soap and Glory pulp friction foaming fruity body wash review

Hello

How are you all. I thought I would do a review on the above as it came in my goody box and I hadn't used it before. This review is based on two uses bu yours truly.

The product

They say.......

'Soap & Glory™ Pulp-Friction™ Foaming Fruity Body Scrub has the new Fruitigo™ Fragrance that features frozen yuzu, orange oil, green fig, and jungle pomelo essence.

. SMOOTH UP A GEAR: Squeeze out a handful of Pulp Friction™, rub it between your palms, then work it around in circles on damp skin. (You can start at your shoulders and work down, or tackle dry shins and feet before scrubbing up.) Rinse when you’re finished'

I say......

Foams up which i am not used too but left my skins feeling silky smooth. I really like body scrubs because my skin is so dry and we live in a hard water area. The smell wasn't personally for me and I found that flake away leaves me feeling more moisturised so I wouldn't personally buy it again but it has had loads of super reviews on the boots website!

Happy scrubbing

2012

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Oh I am so excited about a new year! Hope you all had a lovely evening. I went to a friends; not a crazy one or anything more emphasis was on the food! We had the Jamie Oliver lasagna with butternut squash and the Mary Berry key lime pie.....oh it was so lovely! Could hardly move afterwards!

So its that time of year.......

New years resolutions!

I think I have gone a bit overboard with the old resolutions! I have loads! I thought I would jot them down on here as a bit of a reminder........

Not to be silly! Ok this seems very vague but there are subcategories....like not to be silly with men or financially.

To take more care in my appearance.....I OVE shoppping, really do but I can be so lazy with my appearance, my hair is usually scraped back and I rarely wear make up....think I would like to take a bit more pride.

To cook more. I am so lazy so I would really like to cook one new thing a month.

Lastly.....I want to look at my shopping habit, I did have a crazy idea of not buying any clothes for a year and using the blog to track my progress.....but I really don't think I would manage it and there is no point setting yourself up for a fall so my plan is.......ONLY BUY ONE ITEM OF CLOTHING A MONTH! Eeeeeek its here in black and white ladies! Wish me luck!
Have you got any new years resolutions for 2012???
